From Bobbie Knapp, her breeder/owner:
Tikis Final Rally (*KS Rubin / SAR Tiki Final Finale)
Rally has a special origin story. Her dam, Finale, is a full sister to SAR Tiki Rock On, a Shagya approved Arabian Stallion, and like her brother she has an impressive endurance racing record. After retirement from racing, Finale suffered a traumatic, and often fatal shoulder injury and even her prospects as a broodmare were uncertain.
Her Owner agreed to ship her to me so that I could try Electro-Acuscope Therapy on her; a therapy system I had just been certified to use. After many months of therapy but I was able to stabilize her injury and improve her stability (WTC sound). As a generous thank you her Owner offered me a breeding by the stallion of my choice.
I wanted a partner that would be versatile with a good temperament and work ethic. Endurance racing is my goal (hopefully 100-mile completions), but I also like to ride dressage, sort cattle, and jump into anything else that sparks my interest with both feet.
A Shagya stallion seemed like the clear choice and Rubin is at the top of that list.
Every day I spend with Rally makes me even more certain that she is everything I hoped and more.
What’s in a name?
Tikis- For the racing legend KonTiki. The only Arabian to be inducted into the thoroughbred hall of fame.
Final – After her dam, Finale
Rally – An ‘R’ to represent her sire Rubin. It means to come together for a common purpose / to summon strength or courage in a renewed effort to push through something difficult.
